Criminal Defence & Prosecution

Criminal cases carry serious consequences for liberty, livelihood, and reputation. Advocate Kuldeep Jain provides robust criminal defence at every stage — from FIR registration to High Court appeals — combining meticulous case preparation with aggressive courtroom advocacy.

Pre-Trial & Investigation Stage

We assist at the earliest stage — advising on FIR registration, securing or opposing arrest, representation during police investigation, statements under Section 161 CrPC, and identification parades. Early intervention often shapes the entire trajectory of a case.

Trial & Sessions Court

Full-spectrum trial representation across IPC offences (including 302, 307, 376, 420, 498A), NDPS Act, POCSO, Arms Act, and SC/ST Act. We argue framing of charge, cross-examine prosecution witnesses, lead defence evidence, and deliver final arguments grounded in evidence and binding precedent.

Appeals & Revisions

Acquittal appeals, conviction appeals, criminal revisions, and Section 482 CrPC petitions for quashing of FIRs and proceedings before the Punjab & Haryana High Court. We have secured acquittals in cheque bounce, cheating, and assault matters reported in regional press.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can an FIR be quashed?

Yes. Under Section 482 CrPC, the High Court can quash an FIR or proceedings if continuation would be an abuse of process — for example, when allegations don't disclose an offence, or the matter is purely civil dressed as criminal.

Should I speak to police without a lawyer?

No. Statements under Section 161 CrPC are not signed by the accused and can be used against you. Always consult an advocate before any statement or appearance.

What if I am falsely implicated?

We build the defence on documentary contradictions, witness inconsistencies, and procedural lapses. Many of our acquittals are in cases of false implication arising from personal enmity.
